The Foodies Series
Are you serious about food? Well, then I think we have something in common. I love food! Now, do not confuse that with eating. Confused? Let me explain. We all have to eat. We have to eat to sustain ourselves. But some of us are a little bit particular about the foods we eat. Some of us want to know if it is local? Was it farm-raised? Does it have hormones? How long has it aged? Are we food snobs? Not at all! Food snobs aren't explorers of food and turn their noses up to eating certain types of food. Us foodies love all types of food and exploring foods from all around the world. What we are about are the ingredients and wanting to eat dishes made with the best and freshest of ingredients. We know good food not only needs to feed the body but it also needs to feed our souls.
"To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is an art." - Francois de Rochefoucauld
I love pouring over recipe books and food magazines. Even though I use books, magazines and the web as a source of information and inspiration for new and different recipe ideas it's not the recipes themselves that get me excited. If I'm honest I'm really in it for the food pictures. Nothing will turn me away from a cookbook faster than a cookbook without photos. I do not understand a cookbook without food pictures. Us foodies need to not only eat with our mouths but also with our eyes So I knew I needed to add a cook look book. Enjoy!

Welcome to TravelChic340 - Foodie Thoughts. I love to share my passion for really good food. Sometimes a foodie has to express themselves not just on a plate but also on paper. Because for a foodie, food isn't just about what we put in our mouths.
"If you really want to make a friend, go to someone's house and eat with him - the people who give you their food give you their heart." - Cesar Chavez
