KAIA @ THE NED

Kaia is an Asian-Pacific restaurant located in The Ned Hotel.  There are eight restaurants and bars located within The Ned Hotel and the bar is very popular.  It's my understanding the line to enter The Ned Hotel can get very long, but you bypass that line if you have dinner reservations.  Located in the city, so a little bit of a trek for me, but well worth the tube ride.  The architecture alone is worth going.  The Ned Hotel is located in an old bank building that is rare to see these days.  You enter into a massive room separated by bar areas, a band stand and restaurant seating.  It's a very lively and busy place.  Kaia sits off to the side, so you're not smack in the crowd but you can still enjoy the music and energy throughout the room.  I enjoyed each dish but the one that sticks out in my mind?  Crispy Prawns!  Amazing.  Each bite was like biting into soft pearls that burst in your mouth with a bit of crunch.  Perfectly prepared.  Definitely a fun night!
