I LOVE Marcel!  I love the interior, the decor, the dim lighting that adds to the glamour that surrounds Marcel.  The Marcel staff are the best.  When you enter you are greeted by the front door staff, they hold the door open for you, greet you with a smile and a bit of chat.  Very friendly and welcoming.  The table staff are exactly the same.  Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the dinner, wine and cocktails.  Marcel describes itself as "...Marcel is a return to the days when people appreciated every moment, when dull care was forgotten, when love lingered over the best meals - including, pound-for-pound, the best steaks money can buy."  That is a quote directly from the Marcel website.  But I couldn't have said it better.  When I think of Marcel I think glamour, cocktails and steaks.  If swank was a steakhouse she would be Marcel.  This is some old school stuff!
