This necklace was worn by Carrie Bradshaw on Sex And The City I believe it was Season 3.  She wore it exactly like I would and have worn with a simple black bandeau dress. In one episode it was worn as a belt on top of a ruffle strapless dress. 

I fell in love with this necklace, as with many other looks and accessories on Sex And The City.  One day walking down M Street in Georgetown, Washington DC I saw the necklace on a mannequin in a store window and immediately made a b-line across the street and grabbed it.  That was several years ago and this necklace still wears well and looks the same as it did the day I purchased.
