I've walked past this area with several little restaurants and pubs many times.  For some reason when I think about going out to eat somewhere that's within walking distance from my flat I somehow always forget about this little section behind the park.  Well fortunately a friend and I gathered for a catch up and we decided on Eat Beirut.  I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.  Maybe surprised isn't the correct word, but I went in totally blind and had no idea what to expect.  Sometimes it's better not to read about a place prior to going because then you walk in with no preconceived notions.  Everything was lovely.  The staff couldn't have been nicer and the food no more scrumptious.  I was particularly surprised how delicious the tabbouleh was since sometimes I find it to be a bit bitter.  The prawn platter????  Well I'm just going to post the photo and let you salivate.
